This classic movie clip reminds me of the Republicans' fiscal cliff negotiating strategy, except for two things. First, in this scene, the sheriff is black and is smarter than everybody else in town (which is more Obama's position), and second, Republicans are holding the gun to their own heads, but think they can pull the trigger, too.
