Cincinnati Reds manager Pete Rose is banned from baseball for gambling by Commissioner A. Bartlett Giamatti.I remember how much Schadenfreude I felt when Bart Giamatti died. I really thought that God or karma or something struck that man dead. Actually, I thought it was a little voodoo, because I cut his picture out of the newspaper after he banned Pete from baseball, and I threw darts at it for a couple of days. I felt pretty powerful. Damn hero worship.
